Salvaged

* Please note – This post was written on Sunday, but my camera has been missing since then and I could not post without pictures! But in a turn of kooky events, Matt just found it out in the yard – 3 nights outside in the wild and still alive and kickin’!! Miraculous. Here goes:

Like the title says, we salvaged the weekend today after Matt was on the couch sick with food poisoning all day yesterday and I was playing nurse – that’s what you get for eating lunch in a place called “The Dive.”

We had some errands to do (more economic stimulating) and ended up in Matt’s Garden of Eden, the salvage yard. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

I always wanted an Easter themed toilet planter!

I also noticed the first fruits of my labor (literally!). $10 (IOU) to the first person to find it!

Rather than a toilet lawn ornament, stick to your roots. Go with a Mary on the 1/2 Shell (i.e. Mary tucked nicely in an upright bath tub). It will be a great conversations starter. “Hey there…are you from Vermont?” And there you go, a new friend.
