I think it’s safe to say that Matt and I have singlehandedly stimulated the economy of Missoula. I guess the US Senate figured sending us here was the fastest way to inject $$ into the economy. Among the many very important items we have purchased, trash can, rugs, sprinkler, curtains, food, etc. there are a couple other items I must disclose….
Yes, it happened, after years of standing tall as the anti-Croc poster child, I broke down and bought a pair. I know I don’t have to explain myself to you, but I will. They are very handy in the garden to prevent toe dirt (if I have to wash my feet one more time!), easy to slip on, supportive and apparently the “in” shoe here in Missoula. Here are mine:

Maybe Crocs pictured with flowers will make them look less ugly?
If I get too comfortable in them and attempt to wear them out of the yard to a bar or restaurant, Matt has warned me he will not be seen with me – his loss! I also had to buy croakies to keep my sunglasses from slipping off. Just another functional/unstylish item I never intended to wear (they are way too ugly and embarrassing to post a picture of).
Is Missoula trying to turn me into a hippie gardener instead of a cowgirl? It looks like I need to get back on track. Luckily, rodeo season starts this weekend. In the meantime, I will be studying (and drawing in) the Cowgirls coloring book Matt’s mom gave me!
He-Haw!!
Katie — these don’t look like the real Crocs. Have you been shopping at Payless? I know your mother raised you better than that.
