The weather this weekend in Missoula was crummy. We slogged through rain, hail, more rain, wind, momentary peaks of sun and overcast skies. When the weather cleared today and Blue let me know by digging her claws into my arm that she needed a little hike, Matt and I decided to head up the North Hills behind our house. The wildflowers are popping like I have never seen before! Check it:
You know what else is blue and beautiful? My Yogo Sapphire engagement ring! Yup, I traded in my Forester’s Ball practice ring for the real thing when Matt asked me to marry him this afternoon.
I was totally shocked…..as you can probably see from the fact that I didn’t brush my hair. If I had known that this was the big day I may have showered, put on a pinch of make-up, and something nicer than my Kermit the Frog fleece – Oh well!
The long stop on the trail and all the talking made Blue pretty bored (this is also the cute Blue pic of the week).
For those of you who are into rings and shiny things (I’m talking to you my fellow women), here is the beauty that was mined in Utica, Montana and made in Bozeman.
As they say when riding off into the sunset after a great day in Montana…..
Yay! Congratulations!!
